The drive from Lake Tekapo to Mount Cook was spectacular. We stopped at the edge of Lake Puketi where we could see Mount Cook from across the turquoise waters of the lake. We are planning our 'big trip' together. We hope to leave at the end of Oct/mid November and will be travelling for 12/18 months. We start in New Zealand, then Oz, then South America. Can't wait!... full info
