Today we were heading to Haast but couldn't find a campsite there so we decided to carry on down to Wanaka. It was about 5 hours away but easier to get to Queenstown from there. The drive was stunning, the mountains, lakes and all the surrounding landscapes are breathtaking....we stopped overlooking yellow fields of flowers along a river in amoungst the mountains for lunch! Chris and Emma will be leaving the UK on the 17th November. Our first stop will be Hong Kong,then we are flying down to Oz. We are starting in Perth, flying to Alice Springs, Ayers Rock etc, spending Christmas and New Year in Adelaide with Chris Aunt and Uncle. We then travel around the coast up to Sydney. From there we fly over to New Zealand for 6 weeks. We then go back into Sydney to finish up the coast. Afetr this we are spending 2 weeks in Fiji and finishing off with a week in New York on our way home...this is our map: worldmapmaker=123... full info
