More steps and the first terraces

In the background you see one of the porters which had to carry all our food as the horses could not be used on the last day. They wore gumboots or old sneakers, carried 20+ kilos and were still a lot faster than we were.

Ciudad Perdida - "The lost city" the city we are talking about was build by the Tyrona Indians a long time ago and was abandoned four centuries ago when the Indians got wiped out by the Spaniards looking for Eldorado.
