Jaisalmer India August 20th 2008 Jaisalmer: the highlight of Rajasthan. The city is a large medeval like fort built in the 12th century. This fort is still the actuall city, with a quarter of the entire population of the city still living inside. The city is on the border with Pakistan in a desert so dry it rains once every seven years!
