Birds of San Simeon

The drive to San Simeon from LA was a breeze. We stopped for the night at the Best Western, located right on the beach. I snapped this photo just after arrival, before we checked in. What a beautiful first impression of the town!

Exploring the Pacific

Our plane landed in Los Angeles before 8am, leaving a full day ahead of us to rent our car and explore the California coast.
