Took Karan and my parents to San Diego April 2007. The drive from Phoenix is stark. You drive through a sandy desert and then you drive through mountains that have no vegetation. We stayed at the Marriot. The big ticket was Sea-World. We watched the Shamu show and pretty much every single exhibit was special. The bond the trainers had with their proteges was special.
