The summer yeshiva program officially ended today. We were fed pizza (not recommended by American standards!) and falafel for a farewell lunch and gathering. Greetings and salutations everyone! I am about to venture on a journey to the Promised Land to study at a yeshiva in Jerusalem. Yes, I am Jewish and just turned 40, a most symbolic number in the Bible, and felt a calling to go to Israel.
