Short hair is much cooler

At least in temperature...Venice is very hot. Or, as we say when we fan ourselves "Fa caldo!" (It's hot!). So far my biggest fans in Venice are the mosquitoes, who have devoured my upper arms through the night. Italians don't believe in window screens- they think it ruins the view! Here's a pic of me on the balcony in my apartment in Venice.
First days in Venice
