I've always wanted to travel, maybe a side effect of going to High School in small town America. Wanted to get out as soon as possible? Like most younger people I didn't have the money to travel and my parents weren't willing to pay for it and then when I had the money, I didn't have the time due to school and work so I started my travels a little bit later then many people do.
