Uros floating island

Man grinding maize. In reality I think a lot of the 'action' was for our benefits. Mostly they sit around and drink coca or some sort of downer. Quite dull.

Lima Liked it, could have stayed longer but didn´t. Arequipa There is actually an old monastery here which used to have over 200 nuns inside, of all ages, and now houses about 30. But they never leave the walls of the monastry. Can you imagine that? Never seeing what the outside world is like - cafes, fashion, money etc. They go in or are born there and die there.
