8 More cobbing days, 10 til we're on our own!

So cobbing is moving along well, we're almost done all the walls and what is called scratch coating (which prepares the wall for the final plaster), Mandi and I are working on finishing the doorway accents and I think personally I will enjoy the colored plaster more than anything! Well I've started this blog and will hopefully be able to figure it out so I can keep in touch while on my adventures in Baja Mexico! Mandi and I are departing Calgary, Alberta, Canada at 7:50am Wednesday January 30, 2008. Set to arrive in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico at 2:33pm that afternoon, where we will be picked up and taken to the town of San Bartolo. We will be camping on a beach in Mexico for one month learning how to build cob houses! Come February 29, after the cobbing is completed we will be travelling around for a few weeks.
