We stopped on the way to Big Bend at the confluence of the Pecos River and the Rio Grande. Beautiful! Next stop was the tiny town of Langtry, where Judge Roy Bean held court in his saloon, The Jersey Lilly. He was the law west of the Pecos. The saloon is quite tiny. At Big Bend NP we managed to get a spot at the Rio Grande Village RV park, which is basically a parking lot with hookups. ... read more
