Desperation

In the Garden of the Fugitives, Pompeii. These two to me looked like they were looking at each other and struggling to stay alive in at least someone else's eyes for as long as possible.

Growing up as "that dorky kid that read a lot," I had a lot of books on subjects that nowadays I watch on the Discovery Channel or as a documentary on PBS on TV.
