Ryan emailing us back home in cold, snowy Southwestern, PA!

Flat Ryan sent an email today letting us know that he is having a wonderful time in Florida. He will be making a quick trip to Tallahassee with the Hughes family this weekend for a gymnastics meet. He has learned that Tallahassee is near Florida State University and that it is also the capitol of Florida. He plans to send a postcard from there to his classroom next week. Surprise...surprise! Inspired by the popular children’s book, “Flat Stanley”, and the resulting Flat Stanley Projects that have been ongoing since 1995, Ryan’s 2nd grade teacher assisted the entire class in creating flat selves.
