January 2nd 2006 Some photos of my first few days here - it takes a long time to upload so theres not loads yet, but il keep uploading them as i get chance.
The photos with blue sky are from my 1st day the rest with grey sky are every day since.
A favela is a shanty town where residents basically find a bit of land and build on it. The land is theres after 3 years or so. There are now 600 favelas in rio h
