We were going SURFING IN BONDI BEACH!!! I had tried surfing in Machrihanish (thanks Kerenza!) before coming out to Oz, so was well hooked and totally excited that I would actually be able to do it as a hobby as there is a surf beach about 45 mins from Melbourne.
