This is with the tide out which makes it rather ugly. Locals said it goes out 1500 metres.

A big trip today for the Hamers of approx 210 Km. Had a stop for a cuppa and then kept going to Rockhampton. Rather hot at 34 deg and somewhat humid. Just went to the botanic gardens and their little free zoo in time to see the chimpanzees being fed. ... read more
