Sky Tower

This was in the busy downtown of Sydney. We tried to take a picture of a city street, especially one showing the hugely impressive old Queen Victoria Building ("the QVB") that houses a very large and expensive multilevel shopping mall, but the streets are so narrow and dark, a good shot was virtually impossible. There were many huge ultramodern skyscrapers, but the streets and most stores looked like New York circa 1950.

We have just spent the last three days in Sydney, which is the longest our beautiful ship has stayed anywhere. Often we are in and out of a port the same day, from early morning till about sunset.
