Moulay Idriss is a smaller city of about 20 000 people that dates back to approximately 780 AD, from my recollection of what the guide was saying, the King has a special fondness for Moulay Idriss, and therefore prohibits the people from making any changes or upgrades to the city. AfricaBound

Hi! Welcome to our travelblog page. We initally called ourselves "AfricaBound" because we spent a year traveling around Africa from August 2007 to August 2008. At that time, little did we even think that we could go on another extended trip. Somehow through much perseverance and determination we were able to save up for yet another extended trip, this time as sort of a honeymoon.
