The Museum of Art and Precious Stones

Once a prison, but after a riot 8 years ago when many were shot trying to escape it was closed down and turned into a museum. Some of the cells are kept intact with original photos of prisoners shot while clambering over the walls.

Tues 18th Sept Completed tight-fitted packing dispensing with non-essential but still a lot to carry. Drove down the Florida Turnpike to Miami and dropped off the rental car - just made the ´plane for Belem.
