We spent our second day in Venice not actually in Venice...we took a day trip to Verona. I don't know how I managed to do it but I talked Matt into seeing an opera! There's a beautiful Roman amphitheatre there built around 30 AD and is now used for opera performances...the Arena di Verona. It's the third largest amphitheatre in existance.
