Our bags barely touched the ground in Tumbes as three charming and seemingly helpful guys loaded the four of us (& bags!) into the back of their five-seater car while they all squished into the front!! Having booked our tickets back in August, we got far too excited far too soon and felt ready to go by September. Hoorah - 5 months later, and we finally can! German lesbian boots - check, khaki explorer shirt - check. Basically all the important stuff is packed so bring it on! For the first leg the plan is: wander around Thailand, then skip along into Laos, chill our way down through Vietnam and across Cambodia.
