Just been to see the Snoqualmie Falls and it is very picturesque. There is not a lot there but the atmosphere is very tranquil and well worth a visit. The water fall has a drop of 270 feet and lands in a 65 foot deep pool. There are two hydro electric plants there. The construction of the first was started in 1898 and the second added in 1910. We are leaving UK to travel round the world with my Hubby (Russ) and 2 daughters Ellie (10) and Aisha(6) on the 1st September 2007 We are spending a month in the USA, then 6 weeks in NZ, 6 weeks in OZ, then we have 4 months in Bali, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand... then back to UK...
