Ship Cross-Section

This is a cross-section of the ship. Notice the rock ballast in the bottom. Why did she sink? The Vasa did not have enough ballast, too many cannons were located too high on the ship to make it stable and there was not enough crew.

7-27-07 I woke around 6 listening to the birds chirping out the portal hole. I fell back asleep with the gentle breeze flowing through the window and to the sound of the rustling waves.
