Arriving At The Top Of The Fall Hike !

This photo was snapped as we got to the top of the hike to the falls ...I almost expected to see a big buck standing at the base of this fall drinking some cool water , What a shot that would have been !!! The mist could even be felt from where i was standing as this shot was taken , from the falling water on the top of the huge boulders nesseled in the pool below !

This photo was taken in June of 2007 , and shows the rewards i recieved when i finally reached the end of a 2 1/2 mile hike up the mountain trail in Cades Cove . This is one of many great falls that can be seen in the smokies ! The trail is a moderate hike but not suitable for young children unless you are good at piggy backing lol !
