Turn off to Uluru

We’re at the turn off to Uluru (Ayers Rock) along the main highway between Adelaide and Darwin (200 kms south of Alice Springs). Odometer clocked 6000 kms today. Hard to believe the road we’ve been on for the last 6 days was only finished being paved 20 years ago. Uluru, a major milestone on our adventure, is just 250 kms (a day’s ride) west of here.
