This morning we got up early and were out at about 8:15. We stopped in town for a few lovely pasties for breakfast, then went over to the gondola for its 9:00am opening time. Our objective: get to the top of the mountain and ride the luge as many times as possible before leaving for Waitomo Caves. We managed three rides each, and enjoyed them all.
