My first high pass

and it was very chilly....
A few days on the road to Everest

We then all spent the next few days heading up to Everest driving through the Tibetan Plateau, principally along the Friendship Highway, passing stunning scenary including the ice blue colours of Yam Tso Lake and the towns of Gyantse, Shigatse and a detour to Sakya, all with their respective monasteries.
