This is the only surviving temple in Laos built in the Xieng Khuang Style as all were destroyed in the US bombing raids in the Vietnam War.

Luang Prabang is a very beautiful city surrounded by green mountains and clay coloured waters. The whole city was listed as a world heritage site since 1995 by UNESCO.
