Arrived in Cairo this a.m. about 1 a.m., then spend an hour with British Airways because they lost one of my bags--actually it only had a collapsable lawn chair with an umbrella but I'm thinking that will be mighty important when I am camped out in the Desert at 110 degrees!! hopefully they will deliver it to my hotel before we leave. NEW TRIP---Starts in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on New Years Eve 2008--we will celebrate on Copacabana Beach--then travel for 50 days or so through Brazil, Argentina, Uruaguay to the Southern most point of South America - Tierra del Fuego--then back up the West coast of South America to Santiago, Chile....decompress for a couple of days in Santiago, then back to Denver about Feb 25, 2009.
