Yunnan street vendor

Because of the time of year that I visited, the most popular food seem to be soup noodle and their famous hot pot featuring black lamb. As with most places I visit, what i enjoyed most is the food offered by street vendors such as the array of food you see here. In the center of the picture is a stack of doughy pastry call baba. They are fried, fairly doughy pasty. They come either sweet or slightly salty. I didnt care much for them because they are quite hard and dense. A bit on the stale side since most are made in advance and just left to sit. According to the locals, they can keep for several days. Trust me, most taste like it too.
