I took the morning flight to St. Petersburg. Wait, what's that? HOLY HISTORY LESSON, BATMAN! St. Petersburg was founded by Peter the Great, who was apparently arrogant enough to name a city after themselves. It was supposed to be Russia's "window to the west".
