Queen of the Missions

This was the largest of the five missions in San Antonio. Known as the "Queen of the Missions" because of its and its beauty. It was almost fully restored to its original design in the 1930s by the CWA and WPA. The missions were painted. This photos shows what is left of the paint of Mission San Jose. Beautiful!

We spent a night in Stockton, TX on our way to San Antonio, TX. We glamped at Alsatian RV Resort in Castroville. We learned about a self-guided walking tour of the town from our RV neighbor.
