Kościół Rzymskokatolicki pw. Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Marii Panny - Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Gothic side entrance. Built as a Franciscan church in 1270-1300. It was used by the Protestants in 1724-1821. One of the three preserved Gothic churches in the Old Town Toruń. Panny Marii 2. Medieval Town of Toruń UNESCO World Heritage site. Inscribed in 1997. This morning in Toruń was a walking tour of the old town. As I mentioned, Toruń was Monika's home, so she was an excellent guide. The group again assembled at the Monastery Gate.
