Ratusz (Rathaus) - Old Town Hall. Built in 1391-1399. Enlarged in 1605-1605 in the Mannerist style. Rynek Staromiejski 1. Medieval Town of Toruń UNESCO World Heritage site. Inscribed in 1997. "The Rathaus of the 13th, 14th, and 17th cent, (restored after a fire in 1703) contains the Museum on the third floor (restaurant in the massive vaulted Katskeller; fine view from the old tower)".--Baedeker 1910. Toruń Day 2 - The City of Copernicus

This morning in Toruń was a walking tour of the old town. As I mentioned, Toruń was Monika's home, so she was an excellent guide. The group again assembled at the Monastery Gate.
