Totally get your fascination with Komodo dragons
I totally understand why you wanted to see Komodo dragons. I had the same wish 20 years ago when I went there (I have a blog post from there if you are interested). My dreams of Indonesia also included to see Krakatau, which I did a week or so later. So I, like you, fulfilled two lifegoals on the same trip, just not the same day. I just googled the current price for visiting Komodo Island. It is far more expensive today that it was 20 years ago, but not as high as I thought it was. Dragon photo
Thank you so much Ake. It's sort of an optical illusion, and the guide took photos that make us look a lot closer than we actually were. A great experience!
