This impressive bronze statue about 5 metres high, legend has it it was stolen from Constantinople and on its way to Venice was shipwrecked on the Apulian beaches, unknown who it represents but it is stunning

I have to tell you how excited we are to be in Alberobello, what a great feel Alberobello has about it, a quaint little town up in the hills off the east coast of Italy!
