Great Pond, ME

Sunset. So beautiful. I would walk the trail from the clubhouse to my camp. There was a bridge that goes over the marsh land on the walk. I kept thinking this is the perfect spot for moose....so where the heck are they? Last May they had one on the beach and posted a picture on their facebook page. I guess it doesn't happen often, but it didn't stop me from showing up every morning with a hot cup of coffee in hand and a camera around my neck. Waiting.

I finally reached the Quoddy Lighthouse in Lubec, Maine. The furthest eastern point of the US. Even that statement gets complicated in this peaceful, quiet, wooded state.
