When Susan and considered that Cheyenne was only some 45 miles from Fort Collins we decided we should make an impromptu visit. We didn’t think we would have occasion to be this near again. Cheyenne is an interesting town. We lived and worked there for a while. It had a busy hospital!

It is a Mecca for railway enthusiasts. I have never seen so many trains pass a single point in the amount of time we were there. (Unfortunately, a particularly long train had come in and stopped. Most of the other trains were behind it and could be heard but not seen.)
