The long red Langabúð, was built in 1790 and enlarged in 1850. It served the same purpose, I think, as the former Royal Danish Trading Company warehouses and stores we saw in Greenland. Djupivogur.

Southeastern Iceland June 2nd 2022 After our tour of puffins and the village of Bassagerði , it was time to head south to the evening's destination of Höfn.
