Wooden Barracks

Auschwitz II-Birkenau concentration camp. Wooden barracks in Block BII. Each contained 400 prisoners. Among the barracks was one containing a latrine and wash facilities, to which access was limited. Today was our visit to the Auschwitz concentration camp. A somber day, but a must. The name Auschwitz itself conjures up the Holocaust and its horrific images.
