St. Andrew's Church

Kościół św. Andrzeja - St. Andrew's Church. Romanesque stone church built in 1079-1098. The Baroque domes atop the octagonal towers were added in 1639. It was a fortress church, one in which people could take refuge during military assaults. Grodzka 54. Historic Centre of Kraków. UNESCO World Heritage site inscribed in 1978. Monday morning would be a full day of sightseeing in and around Krakow, including Wawel Castle and the Old Town.
