After a day to recover, we decided to hire a car & head south towards Albany - approx 409 km. We immediately noticed the change in scenery as we left the Perth suburbs; comprising of a more Mediterranean landscape, dense forests, lots green vegetation against the dry soil, multiple farms and loads of wineries.
