Gardens by the Bay

Early afternoon we met up with Mary and David in the hotel foyer, and planned a trip to the Gardens by the Bay for the afternoon and evening. This would introduce us to the MRT system in Singapore which is both quite cheap and very frequent and useful. Marg and Rob purchased a Horizon Wattle (Mercedes Sprinter) motorhome built by Ballina Campers and planned to circumnavigate Australia over the following couple of years, collecting it just after Rob retired in May 2011. Iconic...
Those towers, or whatever they are, are truly iconic. I don't think they were built when I was there in the 90-ies. But I'd love to go to Singapore again just to see them. There was a lot more that I didn't see last time I was in Singapore so I think I would enjoy another visit. /Ake
