Dinner experiences

On the second to last night in Kyoto, we organised to eat at a chef’s house. Masashi Otani prepared 3 small individual dishes and various pieces of exquisite nigiri before our eyes. He matched these with French wine (Chablis, Reisling and Pinot Noir). We were two of only four people present. It was a unique and amazing meal!

We spent 10 days in Kyoto. On our first day, we strolled around Nishiki market before checking into our ryokan (traditional Japanese accomodation).
