The Big Day

Tuesday 11th January, 11.1.11 The big day.

Well that's it we are now Mr & Mrs Lacey :-) We have had the most wonderful day, treated like royalty and had the most spectacular wedding better than we could have ever imagined. A few pictures for now, in case you are wondering, one is of us with a 2ft ice carving of a couple of lovebirds :-) We invited our table guests and a couple we met dancing so they joined us at the ceremony and later at a celebration lunch. All around the ship being photographed was a bit strange as everywhere we went people were cheering and clapping! Even the waiters paraded us all around the dining room with a finale of “congratulations” not particularly subtle, but well intentioned! The day is not over as we are off for champagne and canapes before supper so just having a few hours relaxing now, may just squeeze in a little time in the jacuzzi on the aft deck before supper. 24 degrees here so enjoying the sunshine as well.

Thanks, glad you found the blog, its a bit of a diary as well so quite fun to do. Have not been able to access link you sent the other day will have to look when home - think connection too slow, just like the rest of Caribbean, hey man, relax, whats the hurry??? Anyway having a FABULOUS time, speak to you when back.
