Isn't she a beauty
We woke up this morning with the palm fronds slapping against the house.

Very windy. But off we go anyway. As the day went it was very nice. Took the ferry

From Pahia to Russel and back. Visited the Hunnderwasser Toilets in Kawakawa

Tourist attraction built by an Austrian architect. I actually I liked the smalozone

With all the flowers on the roof. The fen you see on the picture is a Silver Fern Tree.

I think they are very COOL! All in all a very good day. I think I'm getting more

comfortable with the left hand lane. Still haven't quite stopped turning on the

windshied wipers in place of the directional signals.

We have only been here 5 days but seems much longer.

I am giving up on the captions

Use your imagination!

Good morning
Looks like you've covered a lot of ground in only 5 days. Loved the pictures, particularly the toilet photos. Please send more of them. HA! BTW, I'm curious, what side of the road do they drive on in NZ?

Driving on the road
Well Tom, they drive on both sides of the road depending on which way they are going. When they go north they stay on the left. When they go south they stay on the left. The cars coming toward you, pass by on the right. Ha! Lowell

Just got today, not yesterday
Oh well, better late than never. I LOVE the foliage pictures, since I'm a gardener. What's the price of gas over/down there???
