We woke up at 7am ready to check out. However, as we are in an en-suite we had to wait half an hour for a girl to get out of the bathroom!

Hooray! We are on a bus and on our way with no hassle! We pass the Nelson Lakes National Park and stop at Richmond to stock up on picnic supplies.

We then had an hours hike through a native New Zealand beech forest.

After an hours drive we arrive in Murchison before going to Bullers Gorge.

Some people off the bus went to do some activities. Me and Rob went to the hotel, checked in and headed out to explore.

Although we had a map we did not use it! We went through the town and saw a sign for the beach.

We were shocked to find a dusty track leading to a beach of gray sand?!?

We then walked to the lighthouse before heading back - stopping at the chippy on the way.

Rob also went for another run.
