We started out with an early stop at Lake Matheson which on a nice day you can see reflections of Mt Cook. Unfortanately due to the clouds we didn't get a great sight but it was still a very pretty lake. After a few more stops at Knightpoint lookout, thunder creek falls, and lake Hawea (which was absolutely gorgeous with all the mountains behind), we finally arrived in Wanaka.

We arrived in wanaka just in time for tea so we picked up picnic supllies and headed up to the top of mt Iron. it was only 35 mins to the top but the views were great. The next day we got up early and did the Waterfall creek walk and the beacon point walk which leads onto the Outlook point walk. Wanaka is a nice town by the lake so it has really nice views. After walking about 5 hours we devided to relax in the garden witha nice refreshing beer.

On the morniong we left we went to puzzle world. This had a huge maze where you had to find four towers and then your way out, and an illusion area which was quite freaky.
