After the activities of the previous couple of days we took it easy on the Friday.
We went on a Segway tour around Queenstown, these are electric vehicles that you stand on and they move by you leaning on them. This was good fun and we enjoyed this.
On the Saturday we had a helicopter trip to Milford Sound booked, we had a fantastic time on this trip as we had really good weather, We got to do 2 alpine landings in the snow and we saw some amazing scenery.
After the helicopter trip we drove to a place called Te Anau which is a really small town but it is on the way to Milford Sound - we stayed here for a couple of nights and we drove to Milford Sound on Sunday and took a boat cruise around it - again the scenery was amazing. We are now in Wanaka which is another small town - we went to a shooting place today and fired some small rifles and I had a go at clay pigeon shooting was hurts your shoulder!
We are off to Dunedin tomorrow in the hope of seeing some Penguins and Seals.
